Piatsa Gourounaki has never disappointed during the five or more times I’ve visited with friends on various occasions.
An all-day restaurant, catering to both locals and tourists alike. The main, or perhaps the original restaurant is located at the end of Onasagorou street in downtown Nicosia. The stylish décor and interiors reflect the traditional Cypriot Greek souvlakia and grills eatery concept.
Pulsating to the delightful vibes of a popular Kebab shop in Cyprus, Piatsa Gourounaki has a lovely ambiance, with nice greek background music. Pricewise, and judging from the huge fanbase, I would say it is reasonably priced in relation to the overall enjoyment, and the served hearty portions which are highly appetising, satisfying, and professionally prepared, with the service staff being polite and attentive.
You’d definitely not go wrong with the mixed grill platters especially for shared big group experiences. The restaurant also serves a good selection of vegetarian dishes and nice traditional desserts 👌🏼.
All in all, enough food to satisfy most particular of culinary expectations.
